Biography

My name is James McDonald and I'm from the United Kingdom. Born and raised in Sheffield I studied at Sheffield Hallam University obtaining a diploma of higher education in 2014?, since then I have continued my design practice while also branching out into generative and conceputal artworks, sculpture, installation and sound design.

Using computers from a young age I have always had a fascination with software and interfaces which has led me to interaction and user experience design through way of my personal connection with computing technology. Understanding the design decisions that go into making something usable and accessible has been a huge part of my life.

Being part of the next era of design and computing technologies and developing the cutting edge is where I want to be. I've gained a lot over the years through creative use of software and computing technologies so contributing to what makes the next generations experience with these processes better is something I want to do.
